The fall alarm uses a sensor to recognise the difference between 'hard' falls and other movements. Like many similar systems on the market, it cannot guarantee detection of all falls as it is dependent on the amount of impact it senses and how the watch actually moves.
You can switch this feature on or off at any time as well as increasing the sensitivity if you wish.
